Season 8 opens with a series of moving scenes, starting with buoyancy in the universe in search of signs of Robeast. The Paladins head towards Olkarion and realize that they are not alone in their journey. On the other hand, Paladin sets up plans to meet the Atlas, but reunification is interrupted when the Black Lumin is ambushed by one of the mysterious opponents.
