Colin Baker stars as the sixth incarnation of the Doctor in his final season. He is joined by companions Peri Brown and Mel Bush, played by Nicola Bryant and Bonnie Langford. Michael Jayston and Lynda Bellingham both appear throughout the whole serial, the former as the Valeyard and the latter as the Inquisitor.
